The art of the slow morning: How to savor your coffee and start your day off right with Sundream
Jan 17, 2023
There's something about a slow morning that sets the tone for the entire day. Whether it's the quiet of the house before the hustle and bustle of the day begins, or the feeling of a warm cup of coffee in your hands, a slow morning can be a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.
At Sundream, we believe that the art of making and savoring your morning cup of coffee is key to starting your day off right. Rather than gulping down your coffee on the way out the door, take the time to brew, sit down and enjoy it! Savor the aroma, taste the flavors, and let the warmth of the cup comfort you.
We love making our coffee via manual pour-over method. The brewing process is intentional and slower than most others methods and gives you more control of the brewing process.
"I get up every morning before the kids, start a fire in our fireplace and make a pour over. It's a moment I cherish. The peace before the storm, and it definitely sets the tone for my day." - Casey (co-founder).
Take the time to enjoy the ambiance around you. Whether you're sitting on a cozy couch or outside on a sunny patio, take a moment to appreciate your surroundings. Listen to the birds singing or watch the sunrise, turn on your favorite song or get our your journal. Let yourself be present in the moment and fully enjoy your coffee. This looks different for everyone, and sometimes it can sound like a far reach from reality, but we promise carving this special time in your mornings will change the trajectory of your day. So take a moment, and let Sundream be a part of your morning ritual.

What does it mean to take life slow? It means single-tasking rather than switching between a multitude of tasks and focusing on none of them. Slowing down is a conscious choice, and not always an easy one, but it leads to a greater appreciation for life and a greater level of happiness.
Having a cup of Sundream coffee, watching the birds, sitting next to my pup with my hubby doing the same in the quiet of the morning is how we do it.
